The tournament is divided in four phases: Phase of groups, quarter-finals, semifinals and final. For this edition participate 12 selections: Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Paraguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, Japan and Catar.
In the phase of groups, the twelve teams participants divide in three groups of four teams each one. It plays with a system of all against all, where each team plays a party with all his rivals of group, and classify to the quarter-finals the two first places of each group, as well as the two better third.
In the quarter-finals can not confront teams that have shared group in the previous phase, by what the first of the group To confronts to the third qualifier of the group B or C, whereas the winner of the group B confronts to the third of the group To or C. The winners of each party of this phase classify to semifinals. The clashes of the teams in the quarter-finals and the following phases are determined of agreement to the calendar of the tournament.
Before reviewing the calendar of parties of the Glass America 2019, remember that the valid champion of the tournament is the selection of Chile, winner of the Glass Centenarian America, after winning in the final to the Argentinian selection of Lionel Messi from the penalty spot.
