FC Barcelona is leading LaLiga with 10 matchdays remaining. However, the Catalans still have 11 matches to play. Find out which ones they are!
FC Barcelona retains the lead in LaLiga EA Sports 2024-25 with 10 matchdays to play. The victory of the azulgrana team against Atlético at the Metropolitano (2-4) allowed the Catalans to reclaim the top spot in the standings with 60 points, the same as Real Madrid, and with one match pending against Osasuna. Additionally, there are two more factors that give Barça an advantage heading into the final stretch of the competition.
On one hand, Hansi Flick's team has already won the direct encounter against Atleti (5-4) and maintains a 4-0 advantage over the 'White House'. Regarding goal difference, Barça has +48, while the 'merengues' are at +32 and the 'colchoneros' at +24. For the 'rojiblancos', the defeat on Sunday meant falling 4 points behind the lead, a disadvantage that could be 7 if Barcelona wins their postponed match against Osasuna.
This will be Barça's calendar in the final stretch of LaLiga
In this sense, the Catalans have 11 matches to play in LaLiga, 7 of them at home and 4 on the road. After the international break, Barça will host Girona and Betis for matchdays 29 and 30. After that, they will visit Leganés, just before hosting Celta and Mallorca. Matchday 34 features a visit to Valladolid, a week before the Clásico against Madrid, possibly back at Spotify Camp Nou.
On matchday 36, there will be a Catalan derby against Espanyol, while the last home game (not counting the pending match against Osasuna) will be against Villarreal. The season closes with a visit to the always challenging Athletic at San Mamés. In between, the team must face the return leg of the Copa semifinals against Atlético and the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.

📌Betis (matchday 30): The 'verdiblanco' team is still in the fight to qualify for the next edition of the Champions League. With five consecutive victories, Manuel Pellegrini's team is sixth with 44 points, the same as Villarreal. In the first half, Barça stumbled in their visit to Benito Villamarín (2-2).
📌Celta de Vigo (matchday 32): Celta also managed to take points from Barça in Balaídos (2-2) during the dip that the Catalans experienced between matchdays 13 and 20. The Galicians have gone six matchdays without defeat (4 wins and 2 draws), keeping their hopes alive for European competitions next season (they are eighth, one point behind Mallorca and four behind Betis).
📌Mallorca (matchday 33): The Balearic team has also not lost in the last six matchdays (2 wins and 4 draws), but suffered a heavy defeat in the first half against Barça (1-5). In 2025, only Villarreal (4-0) and Atlético (2-0) have managed to defeat them.
📌Real Madrid (matchday 35): The 'merengues' had a 7-point lead over Barça in mid-January, after matchday 20, but deflated between matchdays 21 and 26 with 2 draws (Atleti and Osasuna), 2 losses (Espanyol and Betis), and only 1 victory (Girona). The balance against the Catalans has also been terrible for Carlo Ancelotti's team, with heavy defeats in La Liga (0-4) and the Supercopa de España (2-5).
📌Osasuna (matchday 27): The 'rojillos' were the first team to defeat Barça in LaLiga 24-25 (4-2 in Pamplona). However, after their victory against Madrid on matchday 24, they have only managed a draw against Valencia at home (3-3).
📌Villarreal (matchday 37): The 'Yellow Submarine' took the first 'thumping' from Barça this season (1-5) on matchday 6. However, they have remained in European competition spots (fifth) even after losing in the last two matchdays against Alavés and Real Madrid.

📌Leganés (matchday 31): The 'pepinero' team surprised Barça in Montjuïc in the first half (0-1) and was also able to defeat Atlético in Butarque (1-0). However, they have only managed to win 1 of their last 8 matches, which has seen them fall into the relegation zone, to 18th place.
📌Valladolid (matchday 34): Diego Cocca's team is practically sentenced to drop back to the Second Division, with only 16 points in 28 matchdays from 4 wins and 4 draws. In the first half, Valladolid took 7 in their visit to Montjuïc.
📌Espanyol (matchday 36): Espanyol has managed to stay out of the relegation zone, but only 1 point above Alavés (17th) and Leganés (18th). After defeating Madrid, they have only added 5 points from the last 15. The first Catalan derby of the season ended 3-1 in favor of Barça in Montjuïc.
📌Athletic Club (matchday 38): Ernesto Valverde's team has had a very good league, with only 4 defeats in 28 matchdays.
