The change of format in the UEFA Champions League for the season 2024/25 will bring, as it expected , adjust in the premiación of the tournament. According to the Italian portal 'Calcium and Finance', from the next season, the UEFA will deliver 2.500 million euros between the 36 teams participants in the phase of groups, 500 'kilos' more than this season. With this, each club that attain to ensure his place in the first phase will perceive a total of €18m, €3m more than this season.

In total, the maximum European organism will perceive 4.400 millions by the tournament, of which, 3.300 will deliver between all the clubs participants. The new format expands the quantity of parties, with a phase of league of 8 days and 36 teams in place of the traditional phase of groups of 6 days with 32 valid teams from the 2003/04 until this season. The eight first of each group advance directly to eighth of final, whereas the qualifiers of the place 9 to the 24 will define to the others classified in a 'playoff' with keys to gone and turn.

The Barça will ensure 18 'kilos' for classifying to the Champions

In this way, the FC Barcelona will have 18 'kilos' safe in box if it ensures his ticket to the next Champions. Also there will be better prizes by each party, as well as for advancing to each one of the phases of 'KO'. In the 2023/24, the winner of the Champions receives 20 million euros, whereas the runner-up in Wembley carries 15,5 million euros.

In total, the UEFA foresees 678,5 net millions by premium of participation for the next season, whereas other 925,3 'kilos' will correspond to the prizes by results. Regarding the market pool and coefficient, there will be 863,6 million euros at stake.
