Optra's supercomputer has calculated the chances of Hansi Flick's Barcelona winning the Champions 24/25
The start of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League has not left anyone indifferent. Not even technology wants to miss out on making its predictions about the possible winners of the quarter-finals, semi-finals, finalists, and champion of the UCL, including FC Barcelona, according to Opta's supercomputer. It is worth noting that the competition is currently in the round of 16.
This supermachine performed up to 10,000 simulations of the knockout stages of the UCL 2024/25, to analyze the probabilities of each team qualifying for the different rounds of the competition, as well as projecting the possible champion of the European Cup.

Initially, technology indicates that the teams with the highest chances of advancing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League 2024/25 are Inter with 81.6%, Arsenal 74.5% and Barça 74%. According to the supercomputer, the Italian, English, and Spanish teams would be the three with the highest probabilities.
After this phase, the semi-finals would come, where the team of Hansi Flick would have a 57.3% chance of overcoming the tie, and it also indicates that Barcelona would have a 31.7% chance of reaching the final of the highest European club competition.
The azulgrana team would present itself in a hypothetical final with a 14.8% chance of lifting the trophy so coveted by the culé fans. Barça would be the second favorite to win this edition of the Champions, being surpassed only by Liverpool's Arne Slot with a 19.2.
The favorites for this Champions
Liverpool had a 58% chance to advance to the quarter-finals, 49% to reach the semi-finals, and 30.9% to make it to the final. Regarding the options to qualify for the Champions final, the Anfield team and Barcelona would be joined by Inter with a 29.9%, while Arsenal has a 20.5%, and very close are Real Madrid and PSG tied at 17.1%.
In the mid-table and below are Bayern Munich with 12.7%, Bayer Leverkusen 12.6%, Atlético de Madrid 8.3%, Benfica 4.3%, Lille 4%, Borussia Dortmund 3.9%, Aston Villa 2.7%, PSV 1.9%, Bruges 1.6% and Feyenoord 1.6%.
