Hansi Flick's Barça faces Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League 2024-2025. Here are the possible lineups for the first leg of the quarter-finals

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund will face each other this Wednesday in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League 2024-25. The blaugrana team arrives at its best moment to the second knockout round, with an unbeaten streak of 22 matches in all competitions this 2025 and the confidence that comes with being the leader of LaLiga and a finalist in the Copa del Rey. Additionally, the culés have almost all their starters available, except for Dani Olmo and Marc Casadó. The player from Terrassa has not yet recovered from the injury suffered against Osasuna, while the midfielder will be out at least until May. Dortmund, on the other hand, arrives at Montjuïc with two significant injuries and another key absence due to suspension.

Next, we review the possible starting formation, the substitutes bench, and the injured and suspended players of Hansi Flick's Barcelona for the first leg of the Champions quarter-finals.

Gavi is set to play as an attacking midfielder, behind the offensive trio formed by Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski.

On the bench, the manager will have available Andreas Christensen, who returned to a matchday squad last weekend after spending the entire season in the blaugrana infirmary. Ronald Araujo, Eric García, Fermín López, and Ferran Torres will be waiting for an opportunity on the bench, along with the rest of the usual substitutes.
