After being absent due to injury in the defeat against Real Sociedad (1-0) and the draw against Celta (2-2), Lamine Yamal has almost certainly ruled out his presence in the match between FC Barcelona and Brest this Tuesday, November 26th, in the fifth round of the Champions League.

The Barça star remains on the sidelines due to the pain caused by his grade one injury to the syndesmosis of his right ankle that he suffered against Red Star almost three weeks ago, and did not participate in training this Sunday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the forward refuses to receive any injections and his recovery continues to be handled with the greatest possible caution in order to avoid a relapse. For that reason, his presence next Tuesday is ruled out and his return could occur on Saturday 30th, against Las Palmas in Montjuïc.

Barça's returns against Brest

However, Hansi Flick was able to count on Eric García for the Sunday session, who participated fully in training with the group and will be included in the squad against Brest. The same is true for Ferran Torres, who did part of the work with his teammates and, although it is more likely that he will be part of the squad in the next league match, his presence against the French team is not ruled out.

For his part, Alejandro Balde was unable to train this Sunday after being absent in Balaídos due to hamstring discomfort and his availability for the Champions League match will be evaluated on Monday, November 25.
