FC Barcelona added its third victory in the Champions League against Crvena Zvezda (2-5). At FCBN we tell you how many millions the Barça team has won in the tournament

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona's victory in Belgrade against Red Star (2-5) allowed the Barça team to continue improving its results in this edition of the UEFA Champions League.

In addition to entering the tournament for the first time in the direct qualification zone for the round of 16 (Barça is sixth, with 9 points), the club already adds a significant amount of money for its performance in the top European competition.

And in total, Barça's three victories in four days (the team lost in the debut against Monaco) translate into 6.3 million euros, at a rate of 2.1 'kilos' per victory. UEFA also paid €18.2M to all 36 clubs competing in the new league phase, a group that replaced the group stage starting with the 2024/25 edition.

In this way, Barça has so far earned 24.9 million euros in the Champions League, with four more games to play in the first phase. The culés still have to face Brest (home), Borussia Dortmund (away), Benfica (away) and Atalanta (home), which can translate into €8.4M more for the club, if they obtain the 12 points at stake.

They begin to give Barça the accounts in the 2024/25 Champions League

If the Barça team draws a match (something that has not happened for eight months in all competitions), they will add 700,000 euros to their coffers. Furthermore, if they remain among the top eight in the general table, Barça will bill 2 extra 'kilos' for their direct classification to the round of 16.

On the contrary, if the team was placed in the 'play off' zone, it would only earn 1 million more. UEFA also establishes an extra bonus, according to the position occupied by each team at the end of the league.

For Barça, the minimum objective this season in Europe, once again, aims to reach at least the quarterfinals, a phase in which the culés lost last season against Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the extraordinary level exhibited by Hansi Flick's team in the first three months of 2024/25 confirms the club's favoritism to fight for a title that has eluded it for a decade. If they maintain the overwhelming pace of recent weeks, Barça has serious reasons to dream of a place in the final in Munich, on May 31, 2025.
