Hansi Flick's first setback against Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund and FC Barcelona faced each other in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 quarter-finals. For Hansi Flick the match against the 'black and yellow' team was a new opportunity to extend his dominance against a rival he had always defeated as a coach. In the midst of a hellish back-and-forth, Ferran made it 2-3 in the 85th minute, sealing the fourth consecutive victory for the culés in the tournament. At the moment, Barça's balance is 10 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, while Borussia has 7 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats, having played a couple more matches in the 'play off' against Sporting CP (3-0 on aggregate).

The second victory took place in the first leg of the quarter-finals. FC Barcelona did not fail at home against Borussia Dortmund. With Montjuïc packed (49,760 spectators), Hansi Flick's team crushed the reigning European runners-up with authority and good football (4-0).
