Robert Lewandowski reached the historic number of 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League by scoring a goal against Stade Brestois. This milestone is historic and has very few precedents
Simply brilliant! Robert Lewandowski has etched his name in golden letters in the history of the UEFA Champions League. Why? Because with his goal against Stade Brestois, he has reached the historic milestone of 100 goals in this European competition, an achievement that only two players had accomplished so far: Cristiano Ronaldo (140) and Leo Messi (129).
The historic 100th goal by Robert Lewandowski in the UEFA Champions League came after he was tasked with taking the penalty that Marco Bizot, the Brest goalkeeper, had previously conceded by fouling him in an attempt to intercept a ball that was dropping into the box after a superb pass from Pedri González, ending up colliding with the Polish '9'.

There is little more to say about the execution of Robert Lewandowski. A low shot aimed towards the goalkeeper's left hand, demonstrating the finesse of one of the best penalty takers in the world. Furthermore, this goal marked the sixth for 'Lewy' in this edition of the UEFA Champions League with FC Barcelona, and the twenty-first if we consider the entire season. It is proving to be a true dream season for the Warsaw native.
