Pedri dedicates the win over Bayern to the Barça fans and reveals the key to his recovery

FC Barcelona beat Bayern Munich (4-1) on Wednesday with another outstanding performance from Pedri González. Once again, the Tenerife native accompanied Marc Casadó in the center of the field, giving order and a safe exit to a team that recovered Fermín López at the right moment.

The one from El Campillo shone as a midfielder, with two assists in the first half that led to the comfortable Barça victory. For his part, the '8' was in charge of carrying out the 'dirty work', giving a hand in the recovery and very attentive in covering spaces to make sense of the high pressure that Hansi Flick proposes from start to finish.

In total, the one from Tegueste completed 38 of 46 passes (83%), with 7 duels won and only 1 lost, in addition to recovering 3 balls and completing 3 dribbles in the same number of attempts. After the game, the midfielder admitted in his talk with 'SPORT' the importance of being able to defeat a club that had not been beaten in a long time and against whom several very tough results had accumulated. "As a Barça fan, it makes you proud and the truth is that we wanted to give it back to them," he commented.

In that sense, he added: "What's better than doing it here with our fans, who deserve it the most." In addition, he valued being able to leave his physical problems behind to enjoy the regularity that, he considers, is the key to going through "one of his best moments."

"I have found something that is going very well for me and the truth is that I am enjoying playing for Barça, which is my dream as a child," said Pedri, but not before making it clear that, on Saturday, they will go all out in the Clásico del Bernabéu.
