Real possibility: Barça-Naples, at risk of suspension

For next Wednesday day 18 March -that is to say, in hardly a week- was foreseen the party of turn of the eighth of final of the Champions League between the FC Barcelona and the Naples, after in the meeting of gone, Catalans and napolitanos empatasen to a goal (1-1) and left the eliminatory entirely opened of face to the second duel.

In the first duel, the Italian team has not had access to Andalusian terrain by the criterion mentioned, whereas in the second the own Getafe already denied to play.

Thus, the UEFA saw forced to suspend the two meetings and, by the moment, do not have date of dispute. "Like result of the restrictions in the trips between Spain and Italy imposed by the Spanish authorities, the parties between Seville and Rome and Inter and Getafe of the round of eighth of final will not contest as it was foreseen tomorrow, 12 March 2020", prayed the communiqué of the UEFA.

From Italy, allowed like exception the can travel "by reasons of work", but neither like this could give the arrival of the delegation romanista. By the same token and following the same criterion, the Naples neither could land in Barcelona to contest the party of turn of eighth in the Camp Nou. Although it remains still a week for the planned date for the meeting, east has real possibilities to be suspended.

Alternatives for the no suspension

According to the informations published by the newspaper Sport, the Naples could look for alternative roads to access to Barcelona evading Spanish territory as, for example, travel by France or displace by road. It was as it was, the options that the party do not finish playing in the planned date are every time greater.
