Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona have once again made a statement in the Champions League. The Blaugrana faced Red Star Belgrade in a hostile environment like the Rajko Mitic stadium and managed to get another convincing win (2-5). Led by a lethal Robert Lewandowski and a 'on fire' Raphinha, the Catalans managed to get into the direct qualification zone for the round of 16.

In a very hard-fought first half against a very combative Serbian team, the Catalans managed to open the scoring thanks to the surprise appearance of Iñigo Martínez, who scored his second goal in this tournament. Despite Silas punishing a small defensive lapse and equalising the actions, the inevitable Lewandowski scored a goal of pure '9' to put the Catalans ahead again before going to the locker room.

Goal show in the second half

After the break, the blaugranas started a new scoring show and 'Lewy' sealed his double with the goal that put some distance between the two teams. Later, Raphinha extended his streak to four consecutive games by scoring with the fourth goal of the match and Fermín López put the final 'nail in the coffin', although it was Milson who would close the 'party' with the goal of 'honour'.

In this way, the blaugrana team increases its record of consecutive victories to six and jumps to sixth position in the table, getting into the direct qualification positions for the round of 16 of the Champions League with another thrashing. Now, they will look to start the last international break of the year with a victory in LaLiga against Real Sociedad next Sunday, November 10.
