Barça and Madrid, exempt of the economic losses by the Covid-19

The FC Barcelona and the Real Madrid have been the two clubs of the Spanish football that have seen more prejudiced to economic level by the pandemia. Until 97 million euros in losses suffered the alone Barcelona entity in the past season, because of the reduction of income by the ticketing of the Camp Nou and to commercial level. By his part, the club merengue also assumed 91 million euros in losses and 300 by budgetary cut.

However, the managerial board of Josep Maria Bartomeu and the one of Florentino Pérez will be able to not to hold responsible of this deficit caused by the pandemia. The leaders will have the possibility to receive to the Royal decree approved this Tuesday by the Council of Ministers, which frees them of the losses ocasionadas by the coronavirus. This measure atañe to the entities that are not Sportive Anonymous Societies, therefore: Barça, Real Madrid, Athletic Club and Osasuna.

The normative will be applied in all those economic exercises in which they keep the measures by the pandemia that affect directly to the income of the clubs, especially the limitation by the access of the public to the stadiums. The main aim of the Royal decree "is to attenuate the incidence of the derivative losses of the pandemia, by means of his exceptuación of the diet of calculation of the guarantees to deposit annually by the members of the managerial boards of the professional clubs. Of this way can warn that the adverse effects derived of the sanitary crisis caused by the COVID-19 prejudice of disproportionate form his personal heritages".

The precandidatos will not have to endorse the economic losses

This decision will affect also to the precandidatos to the elections to the presidency of the Barcelona institution, which will take place the next 24 January 2021. As it contemplates the same Royal decree, these will not have to endorse the quantity that the club culé has left of ingresar owing to the Covid-19. It fits to stand out that in a conventional context, the directives of the Boat, Madrid, Athletic and Osasuna are forced to back 15% of the budget.

Between so much, the Upper Council of Sports (CSD) aimed that the Law of the Sport (10/1990, of 15 October) authorises to the Government apply the necessary disposals for his development. Likewise, the paragraph sixth of his additional disposal seventh number 4, foresees that by statutory road "will determine the conditions and supposed in that the Managerial Boards, inside the period of his mandates and whenever these are consecutive, will be able to compensate the satisfied guarantees with the positive economic results of the previous or subsequent exercises or those in which they had produced losses".
