A new chapter is added to the problems of FC Barcelona facing the summer transfer market. Joan Laporta's board of directors will have to endorse, once again, so that the club can strengthen itself

Calendar of FC Barcelona

In the FC Barcelona are living days of a lot of movement and hardly is beginning the summer. The club continues having a lot of economic problems and, in spite of the big efforts that have taken place in these last weeks, will have to follow insisting in movements that, in a different situation, descartarían completely.

As it has informed 'RAC1', once again, the Managerial Board of Joan Laporta will see forced to present a guarantee of three million euros, more a will pay of other three 'kilos' to avoid a sanction by part of the economic control of LaLiga by have not achieved to fulfil, in his whole, with the cuts in the sections. It had been a 'commitment' by part of the club before the beginning of the present exercise.

Indispensable step for the Barça

The Catalan entity wants to jump more setbacks, because in case that it do not effect the guarantee, will not be able to do effective the registrations of the players although the club already has librerado sufficient space in the mass salarial to process them. Thus, apurarán his options to resolve this last 'inconvenient' as soon as possible.

In fact, the same information has desvelado that in the next meeting of the Managerial Board, that will celebrate on 28 June, will approve the economic measures so that, as we mentioned before, the Barça can avoid a sanction of LaLiga after promising that they went to reduce in ten millions the mass salarial of the sections and achieve, only, four 'kilos' of saving.

As it has desvelado, between the feminine football, inferior categories and rest of sections, the club 'spend' 104 million euros and, in the forecast of the Plan of Tesorería for the exercise 2022-2023, was that the mount went to diminish to the €94m, but have remained in €100m. If the directive did not endorse, the club will have more problems with the Fair Play and was forced to fichar with the rule of the '1 to 4', that forces to free four times what costs a player for the mass salarial (if it costs €1, it would be necessary to generate €4 of income, for example).

The last guarantee arrived in August of 2022

It is worth it to remember that, the past year, Joan Laporta and the treasurer Ferran Olivé already had to present a guarantee, at a rate of €11m, to be able to process the registration of Jules Koundé in the straight final of the market of signings estival. In this moment, received to the article number 92 of LaLiga, attending to that, as they did not produce sufficient sales to do space in the mass salarial and register to the ex of the Seville, the directors had the option to put of his own heritage to "save" the interests of the club.

In concrete, in the article 92 collects that "it exists the option to increase the capacity of registration anticipating the achievement of income or profits or applying a reduction of costs. It is a measure that has a strictly transitory character, with the commitment by part of the club to reestablish the previous situation during the same season. PPloughs this has to loan some guarantees through a deposit in cash or banking guarantee, that has to be contributed by the shareholder or a third extraneous to the club, but never by the own club. In this sense, in case of not to materialise the restablecimiento of the situation, the guarantee will remain registered in the balance of the Club like net heritage with character no returnable, being able to LaLiga apply these guarantees for the payment of defeated debts by the Club. Besides, it exists a maximum amount limited that it can use under this norm: 5% of the Net Amount of the Figure of Businesses in LaLiga Santander and 1,5% in LaLiga SmartBank".
