Laporta 'wets' about LaLiga and speaks clearly about the financing of Espai Barça

Joan Laporta, president of the FC Barcelona, has appeared in front of the media in the press conference on the finance of the Espai Barça. In her it was accompanied of the corporate director Maribel Meléndez, of the vice-president of the economic area Eduard Romeu and of the financial director Manel of the River.

The mandator began his intervention mentioning the defeat of the club in front of the Ray Vallecano but leaving clear that the fans has to follow trusting the team. "Today the culers are not happy by the party of yesterday. We are to seven parties and the aim prioritario continuous being LaLiga. Ask him to the fans that encourage more than ever to win this league", aimed.

The finance of the Espai Barça

Already in matter of the remodeling of the Spotify Camp Nou, ensured that there will be any type of danger for the institution. We have closed the agreement with 20 investors by 1.450 millions, with some satisfactory conditions for the Barcelona. It has worked a lot and very well. All the figures of the agreement

"Of the 1.450 million the finance, 1.071 will go allocated to the work of the Spotify Camp Nou, the financial costs are of 179 millions and have contingencies of 200 millions. This operation is all a success. The aim was to look for flexibility to analyse the market and improve the service of the debt. In the first 5 years will be of 583 million euros, of 7-9 years will be of 477 millions and 20-24 years will be of 390 millions. A 5,5 of clean interest is a remarkable success. If we analyse the capacity of return has valued the plan of business with this type of product has been conservative and is a challenge conseguible".

Finally, Romeu left on the possibility to renegotiate in case that there is an excedente in the income stipulated. "If the income are 500 millions instead of 347, in this stage there will be an excess of guarantees and could arrive to an agreement with the investors that have given confidence. Today all are looking with lupa if we fulfil with the terms of work, afterwards everything will be different. I am convinced that there will be possibility to renegotiate with the market and the estructuradores of the operation. We will spend 400 millions for the Palau and Petit Palau, but the interests were not contemplated. Have 200 millions for contingencies and think that have space to do them", concluded.
