FC Barcelona confirms its budget for the 2021-22 season

In a communiqué issued by the FC Barcelona during the day of this Thursday, after an ordinary session of the Managerial Board, have confirmed several key points of the club, like the economic closing 2020-21 and the budget for the exercise that already has begun (2021-22), as well as the date of the General Assembly of Partners, presentation of the due diligence, constitution of the company Barça Productions SL and proposal of statutory reform.

The club has confirmed that the Managerial Board has approved the "closing of the economic exercise of the season 2020/21, with some losses of 481 million euros. Also it has approved a budget of income of exploitation for the season 2021/22 of 765 million euros".

Likewise, it has pautado the date of the General Assembly of Partners Compromisarios, that will be the weekend of the 16 and 17 October. "The Managerial Board has agreed to celebrate the next General Assembly of Partners Compromisarios the weekend of the 16 and 17 October, in the installations of the Club, coinciding with the visit of Valencia CF".

Regarding the due diligence, has aimed that "the Wednesday 6 October will present publicly the results of the Due Diligence. The presentation will be to charge of Ferran Reverter, general director of the Club". Of the company Barça Productions SL (Barça Studios), have reaffirmed that it has approved his constitution, that will integrate the audiovisual activity of Barça Studios, and where 100% of the social participation will be property of the FC Barcelona.

Change of statutes?

Finally, in the official communiqué has confirmed that it has agreed the presentation, in the next Assembly, a proposal dpara the modification of the Statutes, with different agreements, between which, "the possibility to give of high of partner of telematic form and the reduction of the next mandates of the Managerial Board to five years".

In this sense, in the club have aimed that 20 days of antelación to the celebration of the Assembly, "the Club will put to disposal of the partners all the relative information to the proposal of modification".
