Joan Laporta's proposal for the reform of the Barça Statutes

Joan Laporta and his Managerial Board in the FC Barcelona continue working in the improvements of the club to sportive level, but also institutional. During the third weekend of the month of October, the partners will be summoned to a new General Assembly in which it will explain the economic reality of the club, but besides will do a proposal to reform the Statutes regarding the length of the presidential mandates.

In this sense, the directors will put to vote of the partners the reduction of the next presidential periods of the Managerial Board, that would become of five years, an exercise less than what is stipulated right now in the Llei of l'Esport. To be accepted by the compromisarios, would not affect to the current mandate of Joan Laporta, which will finalise on 30 June 2026.

For this, the club will inform to the partners with 20 days of antelación the points related with the proposal for the reform, so that they are in knowledge of the details concernientes and can give his voice in the Assembly, fulfilling besides with the Statutes. Of the same way, is the proposal that the partners can give of high of telematic form, since at present only can do it in the installations of the Camp Nou.

The club announced it the past Thursday, beside the losses of the exercise 2020-2021 and the budget for which already has begun. "The Managerial Board has agreed to present in the next Assembly a proposal of modification of the Statutes, with different appearances, between which, the possibility to give of high of partner of telematic form and the reduction of the next mandates of the Managerial Board to five years. With 20 days of antelación to the celebration of the Assembly, the Club will put to disposal of the partners all the relative information to the proposal of modification".

Laporta Tries to fix the 'empty' of the Barça

It is not a secret for anybody that there is one thousand and some folders of urgent in the offices of the Camp Nou and that, of to little, the new Managerial Board culé works to solve the most important problems. Laporta Has a lot of work by in front, because further of all the problems that has the club to sportive level, especially with the first team of football, to institutional and economic level there are urgent points.

The club there was desvelado that the losses of the previous exercise were of 481 million euros and that 91 'kilos' were to consequence of the COVID-19. Besides, Joan Laporta had announced before that "have a bottom of negative manoeuvre of 553 millions. It is the difference of what have to and owe us". And that the Barça "has a negative net heritage of 451 million euros. It has forced us to work to show to our creditores that the club is viable. We have had to show credibility". Urgent subjects that in which the club has to work immediately.
