FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will compete in the Cup final on Saturday, April 26 at La Cartuja at an unusual time for both teams
Unless there is a surprise, the King's Cup final 2024-25 will repeat the time of the last three editions. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will announce this Wednesday that the match at La Cartuja between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 22:00 (10:00 PM CEST); the same time chosen for the last three finals of His Majesty's tournament.
- 🗓️ Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
- ⏰ Time: 10:00 p.m. (local time)
- 🏟️ Where the game is played: La Cartuja Stadium (Seville, Spain)
In 2022 (Betis-Valencia), 2023 (Real Madrid-Osasuna), and 2024 (Athletic-Mallorca), the RFEF, together with the operators responsible for broadcasting the match, opted for the 'prime time' of 22:00, although there is a possibility of extra time and penalties to determine the champion, something that already happened in the 2022 and 2024 editions, which Betis and Athletic won in penalties.
This year, both 'TVE' and 'Movistar+' and 'TV3' have maintained the prime time for the Clásico, considering that both teams will play that week in matchday 33 of LaLiga. Barça will host Mallorca on Tuesday the 22nd at 21:30, while Madrid will do the same a day later at Getafe's field. To avoid criticism from 'merengues' for having less than 72 hours of rest, the RFEF opts for the 22:00 time.

Barça and Madrid already know how many tickets they will have for the Clásico
Another topic that has generated debate regarding the Cup final has been the distribution of tickets. The RFEF confirmed that each club will have 26,031 "nominal and non-transferable" tickets. The azulgrana team will hold a public lottery this Thursday for the allocation of a number of tickets that the board has tried, by all possible means, to increase due to the demand from members.
The distribution of the culé tickets will be as follows: 22,126, 85%, will be for their members and fans, with a total of 4,425 tickets assigned to fans, while 17,701 are exclusively for members. According to the club's statutes, the remaining 15% of tickets (3,905) are reserved for sponsors and stakeholders. The sale prices range from 72 euros to 270 euros.
