The vice president of FC Barcelona, Elena Fort, confirmed on Saturday the board's decision to forgo the tickets that, by regulation, the club was entitled to for the visit to Barbastro
As expected, FC Barcelona will not have assigned tickets for their debut in the Copa del Rey 2024/25 against UD Barbastro. Vice president Elena Fort confirmed during the assembly of delegates on Saturday that, as usually happens when Barça visits modest clubs, the club reserves the right to request the tickets that, by regulation, it could request for some culé members to travel to Huelva.
Initially, a capacity of 6,000 spectators is expected at the Municipal Stadium, where the azulgrana team struggled to win last season (2-3). Barça was entitled to a moderate number of tickets for members and fans, but ultimately the ticket sales will be exclusively in the hands of the Huesca team.

Ticket sales for the general public will begin this Monday, with prices starting at 80 euros. In this regard, Hansi Flick's Barça is preparing for an uncomfortable cup debut, in a very small field and with a noisy local crowd. The match corresponding to the round of 32 of the Cup will take place on Thursday, January 4, starting at 19:00 h. ('Movistar+').
For the cup debut, it is likely that the coaching staff will opt for a 'mix' of starters and substitutes. JPlayers like Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araújo, and Ansu Fati could take advantage of the visit to Huesca to gain quality minutes. In the case of the 'charrúa', it would be his official debut of the season. Others, like Pablo Torre and Pau Víctor, are also waiting for an intense day to start 2025 enjoying the minutes that have eluded them in La Liga.
