FC Barcelona and Seville refuse the schedule of the final of Glass of Rey

The two finalists of the Glass of Rey FC Barcelona and Seville FC have refused, through a communiqué made by the Catalans and that subscribe the Andalusians, the schedule that imposes Mediaset for the final of the competition

The FC Barcelona and the Seville FC have moved piece in regard to the dispute of the schedule of the final of the Glass of the King that will confront to both teams the next 22 May. The two teams, looking after the best for his fans, refuse the schedule imposed by the Real Spanish Federation of Football under request of the half that has the television rights, Mediaset.

This is the whole communiqué of the FC Barcelona:

"The FC Barcelona and the Seville FC have requested, of way reiterated, to the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF), since it took place the first meeting for the preparation of the organisation of the next final of the Glass of Rey, to contest the Sunday 22 May, in the stadium Vicente Calderón of Madrid, a meeting with the responsible maxima of Mediaset, proprietary company of the television rights of said party, to modify the hour of start fixed for the 21:30 hours.

In spite of the reiteration by part of both clubs in the application of meeting, the same has not taken place to date and the only communication that have received both of the RFEF is that it does not wish debate the question and does not access to that celebrate any meeting with said aim.

The two clubs finalists demand that the final contest in the schedule that offer the best possibilities of trip and labour conciliation of his respective fans. Taking into account that the final will contest in Sunday and that the following day is working, the FC Barcelona and the Seville FC understand that between the 18:00 and the 19:00 hours would be the best time so that his fans can do a comfortable trip until Madrid and a return that allow to arrive to his points of origin to a reasonable hour of the night of the party.

In this sense, both institutions wish to give to know publicly that further of the contractual questions, that could want to do cost MEDIASET with regard to his relation with the RFEF, the determination of the hour of the final is a question of wills and that the fact that not even it have wanted to attend the request of meeting of the clubs supposes a self-evident contempt and a clear fault of sensitivity to both entities and his respective fans.

Any back schedule to the 19:00 hours has the absolute rejection of the two clubs that have joined to demand respect to his fans and do cost his opinion so that the party that will suppose the next final of the Glass of Rey, was complete."
