Hansi Flick's Barça keeps scoring and averages 3.04 goals per match this season
FC Barcelona remains alive in all competitions in the 2024-25 season, leaving impressive offensive records. On Wednesday, the narrow victory against Atlético de Madrid (0-1) secured their place in the Copa del Rey final, where the Catalans will face Real Madrid. Additionally, the team led by Hansi Flick reached another milestone in their offensive production.
In total, Barça has scored 140 goals in 46 matches played across La Liga (29), Champions League (10), Copa (5), and Supercopa de España (2). Thus, the team maintains an average of 3.04 goals per game. The goals scored by Flick's team this season are divided as follows:
- LaLiga: 82 goals in 29 matches.
- UEFA Champions League: 32 goals in 10 matches.
- Copa del Rey: 19 goals in 5 matches.
- Supercopa de España: 7 goals in 2 matches.
Barça has scored in 22 consecutive matches
Against Atlético, the azulgrana team reached 22 consecutive matches scoring at least one goal in all competitions. In 2025, the Catalans have played 21 matches without losing, with a record of 18 wins and 3 draws in which the team has scored 68 goals, conceding 20. The last time Flick's team failed to score was on December 15, 2024, in a defeat against Leganés in matchday 17 of LaLiga (0-1).
Previously, Barça also failed to score in matchday 13 against Real Sociedad (lost 1-0). Out of 46 matches in all competitions, the Catalans have only been shut out a couple of times. Regarding 1-0 victories, Wednesday's was the fifth of the season by that scoreline and the fourth so far in 2025. In the first half of the 24-25 season, Barcelona only recorded one 1-0 win (in matchday 7 of La Liga).
However, this year they also managed to win against Alavés, Rayo, Benfica, and Atlético by the narrowest of margins, keeping a clean sheet. The 'colchoneros', in fact, had scored 8 goals in their three previous encounters against the Catalans, but on Wednesday they failed to breach the azulgrana goal. Barça, for its part, also managed to score 10 goals against the 'rojiblancos', which is notable considering that, in La Liga, Diego Simeone's team has the least goals conceded (24).
