The money that Barça will charge from UEFA for Frenkie de Jong
Frenkie Of Jong will not play the Eurocopa with Low Countries, but the FC Barcelona will receive 50.000 euros of the UEFA for having it had in the previous concentration of Ronald Koeman
Frenkie Of Jong will not participate in the final stages of the Eurocopa of Germany with the selection of the Low Countries by injury, but the FC Barcelona will obtain an economic compensation of the UEFA for having had to the player in the previous concentration under the orders of Ronald Koeman. The Barcelona club will receive 50.000 euros during the last quarter of 2024, same situation that the others clubs with international players summoned.
This entry comes from of the Program of Profits for the Clubs, valid from the Eurocopa 2008 and kept in the World-wide of Sudafrica 2010, that ensures economic compensations by the cession of footballers to the national selections. For the Eurocopa 2024, the daily sum is of 10.000 euros by player, contabilizándose from the 10 previous days to the debut in the competition.
That says the rule of the UEFA?
"Players lesionados: For an included player in the original list of 23 players that lesionó and was replaced before the first party of his selection, the payment only will make by the number of days that the player was present during the ten previous days to the first party of his selection. For the player that substituted to a player lesionado, the payment will make from the day of the replacement until the following day of the last party of the national selection in the final stages".
In the case of Of Jong, compute the five days comprised between the 6 and on 10 June, when it announced his descarte. The Dutch selection will debut on 16 June against Poland, by what the days between the 11 and on 15 June do not include in the calculation. The inclusion of Frenkie in the official list of 7 June ensured to the Barça the corresponding entry, since a descarte previous would have deleted this compensation.
