Acceleration of the renovation of Spotify Camp Nou: A step forward for FC Barcelona
Great news for FC Barcelona, especially for its goal of accelerating the work on the Spotify Camp Nou. It has been officially announced that the City Council of Barcelona has approved an extension of working hours during weekdays for the renovations at the iconic culé stadium.

Following the approval of this permit, FC Barcelona will be able to work continuously 24 hours a day from Monday at 8:00 AM until Friday at 11:59 PM. Additionally, the usual weekend hours, that is, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, will remain, with the exception of the treatment plant in the area of the old Miniestadi, which will continue to be inactive.
It is important to mention that this special permit will be in effect until April 7. This strategic step represents a significant advancement in the renovation of Spotify Camp Nou.
Barcelona takes extra precautions to avoid disturbing the neighbors of Les Corts
It is essential to remember that FC Barcelona always considers the implementation of necessary measures to minimize disturbances to the neighbors of Les Corts. This includes environmental controls such as dust sensors and sound level meters, ensuring that the work complies with the regulations established in the construction permit.
Moreover, the blaugrana club makes it clear that in collaboration with the City Council of Barcelona and the district of Les Corts, a cycle of regular periodic meetings is maintained to keep the neighborhood residents informed about the progress of the works and the upcoming planned actions.
When will the blaugrana club return to Spotify Camp Nou?
Now we will have to wait to see to what extent these measures accelerate the work. The current forecast suggests that the return to the mythical culé stadium could happen starting from the 2025-26 season, given that the extension of the agreement to remain at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys until May 20, as recently mentioned, suggests that the Catalan team, while not ruling out returning to Spotify Camp Nou by the end of this season, the most realistic forecast is aimed at the Barça returning to its temple next season, although no specific date has been determined.
