Aitana receives the Golden Player Woman "I am lucky to be part of great teams"

Aitana Bonmatí has been awarded the Golden Player Woman 2024 at the prestigious Golden Boy Gala organised by Tuttosport in Turin. The FC Barcelona player, who was unable to attend the ceremony due to the proximity of the match against Manchester City, showed her gratitude through a video recorded from the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

“Thank you Tuttosport, I am very grateful for the award. I am sorry not to be present, as you know we have a very important match on Wednesday”, commented Aitana, referring to the decisive Champions League match in which Barça will play for the lead in the group against the English team.

With the trophy in her hands, the Catalan midfielder wanted to underline the importance of the team in her achievements: “I always say that individual awards are not achieved alone. I am lucky to be part of great teams that make me a better player and to be in this situation”.

This is the second Golden Player Woman that Aitana Bonmatí receives, a special recognition awarded at the gala unlike the Golden Boy (won by Lamine Yamal) and the Golden Girl (for Vicky López).
