All the details on the project 'Espai Barça'

It has been approved this Sunday the project 'Espai Barça' by the partners of the FC Barcelona after the celebration of a referendum. The big architectural project of the Barcelona club will have a cost of 1.500 million euros, that will give back at the end of investment Goldman Sachs during 35 years.

Said suntuoso architectural project comprises the construction of the new Camp Nou, the new Palau Blaugrana, several buildings of offices and restoration, a hotel and the urbanisation of the surroundings of the stadium, that also will run to charge of the Barcelona after arriving to an agreement with the City council of the city.

Of what states the Espai Barça?

Cost of the project

Initially, the works had to cost 600 million euros, but after the new restructuring of costs, the price has elevated to 1.500 millions. The new Camp Nou now has a cost of 900 million euros; the Palau goes of the 90 millions to the 420 (the figure that had to cost the stadium), the urbanisation and the adjacent buildings will go up to 100 millions, the modifications of the Metropolitan General Plan of Barcelona will mean 60 millions and the stadium Johan Cruyff, already built, adds 20 million euros to the total (had to to having cost 4M).

Dates of construction and inauguration

In case that the Barcelona achieve finance and the licence of previous works to the term of the season, the construction of the new Espai Barça would have to begin in summer of 2022 with the first interventions in the Camp Nou. It will play the Barça in another stadium?
