Bartomeu already has a 'deadline': the elections will be on March 20 and 21

The end of the days of Josep María Bartomeu like president of the FC Barcelona, every time is more near. Already it knows the date of the next elections to the presidency, of where will go out the successor of Bartomeu. These will celebrate during the days 20 and 21 March 2021, during all the weekend and in distinct locations.

The fact that they celebrate in two days, and no in one, and that have of the possibility to exert the vote in distinct places, and no in one only, is due to the measures of caution against the coronavirus. Of not being like this, could not ensure the distance of security between the partners.

At last, after some disastrous years to level of management, the directive guided by Bartomeu already has date of caducity. Therefore, on 21 March, although it decide cual will be the new board of the FC Barcelona, Bartomeu will keep on being, to practical effects, the president until 30 June 2021. Likewise, the new candidature will give beginning the day 1 July 2021.

No only it has put date to the elections, also, the Managerial Board of the club blaugrana has summoned the Ordinary General Assembly of Partners Compromisarios for 25 October . Casually, that also is the date of the party in front of the Real Madrid that will contest in the first turn of the championship.

"In case that the derivative circumstances of the pandemia of the Covid-19 do not allow to preserve the health of all the participants, the celebration of the Assembly will postpone until they give the conditions of sanitary security that can be summoned and celebrated presencialmente", warns the communiqué of the club.
