The Polish Szczesny remains unbeaten at Barça: 19 matches, 17 wins, and a record in play.
Wojciech Szczesny has established himself as the impenetrable wall of FC Barcelona. The Polish goalkeeper has now accumulated 19 matches without knowing defeat and 10 games without conceding goals since his debut against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey. This Wednesday, the '25' managed to extend his unbeaten streak thanks to the crucial victory of the culés against Atlético de Madrid (0-1), where he achieved another clean sheet.
The Polish goalkeeper stood firm to prevent his goal from being breached, being key to withstand the pressure from the colchoneros, especially in the second half, when they increased their intensity with a more offensive approach. Although he did not face an overwhelming volume of shots, 'Tek' showed confidence in the necessary interventions, including timely exits and a solid presence in the area.
The 'wall' Szczesny continues to hold firm
With the victory at the Metropolitano, Szczesny's unbeaten run with the Barça continues for another match. In the 19 matches he has played with the blaugrana jersey, the player still does not know defeat, with a record of 17 wins and 2 draws (against Atalanta in the Champions League and against Atlético de Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals), including a full set of victories in LaLiga.
Additionally, Szczesny has kept his goal intact in ten matches this season, five of them in the nine matches he has played in LaLiga. In the Champions League, meanwhile, he has only kept a clean sheet in one match: the first leg of the round of 16 at the Estádio da Luz, while in the Copa del Rey he has done so on three occasions (against Barbastro, Valencia, and this Wednesday against Atleti).

Szczesny is on the verge of a historic record
After the victory against Atleti this Wednesday, Szczesny is just one match without losing away from joining the 'club of the 20 unbeaten'. Only five players in Barça's history have not lost in their first 20 matches as culés, namely Albert Celades, Cesc Fàbregas, Paulinho, Philippe Coutinho, and the legend, Johan Cruyff.
'Tek' can reach this figure if the Catalans come out alive from the match against Betis in LaLiga next Saturday. A highly probable fact, as the Catalans are currently the best team in the world and, considering their form, it seems difficult for their streak of 21 matches without knowing defeat to come to an end soon.
