The gala for the 125th anniversary of FC Barcelona was attended by numerous stars of the Barça club. One of the great novelties in the run-up to the celebration at the Gran Teatre del Liceu was the presence of Marc-André Ter Stegen, captain of the first team who continues to work on recovering from the serious knee injury he suffered against Villarreal in September.
The goalkeeper spoke to the microphones of 'Barça One' and left a reflection on his adventure at the Spotify Camp Nou. "It is an honour to represent these boys who play with maximum enthusiasm. The years in which Barça won almost everything, everyone wanted to be a Barça fan. This seemed crazy to me and my family and I always had in mind that one day I wanted to be here. We are in a different situation, but I am very happy to have taken this step," said the German.

Regarding his recovery process, an optimistic Ter Stegen said that "everything is going well. It is a recovery phase in which everything is long, but I am in good hands. I am trying to be with my teammates to share these moments and help them in whatever way."
Finally, he revealed his feelings regarding the good dynamic of the first team and the presence of youngsters from La Masia in the squad. "I am excited to see boys like Cubarsí, above all, people from the house. Seeing them on a day-to-day basis. And in addition to the experience, I see that there is a very good group," concluded the German.
