Calendar of FC Barcelona

Every action has its reaction. The latest actions of the Board of Directors headed by Joan Laporta are not pleasing some sectors of Barcelona fans. With the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in suspense and the situation generated with the almost signing of Heurtel, tempers are very heated. The situation is critical and drastic proposals are beginning to appear to solve it.

The opposition to the current president mobilized last Sunday to present a joint statement requesting the "immediate resignation." If the leadership of the entity considers that the member should be heard, the letter presented offered the possibility of submitting to a vote of confidence. Finally, in case of not seeing movement, it was made clear that the motion of censure was not ruled out.

Jordi Farré will go straight to action

Without giving time for any response, Jordi Farré, member of the club, promoter of the motion of censure against Bartomeu and former electoral candidate in 2021; The Catalan club plans to take action on the matter. According to the newspaper SPORT, the Catalan plans to present this Tuesday the democratic route that he applied in the past to the previous Board of Directors. The aforementioned source assures that the document will be presented at the offices of Spotify Camp Nou in the morning.

This is the first step of a complex process, carried out by someone who already announced in August that he would have no qualms about starting it if necessary. When the document, with the reasons and the objective, reaches the hands of the high spheres that manage the club, they have five working days to provide him with ballots with which the members can support the motion.

Later, the time will come to get more than 16,000 supporters, which represents 15% of the members with the right to vote. To do so, he will have 14 working days from the day after he receives the tickets. He must present them together with a formal reasoned request. If all the requirements are met, the Vote of No Confidence Committee will be set up, which will have 10 days to validate the support. The next step would be a vote, called by the Board of Directors. For the motion to succeed, two thirds of the members who come to exercise their democratic right must say 'yes'. In addition, 10% of the members with the possibility of voting must execute it.

It is a long and tedious process, complicated to complete. In addition, Barça will not play at home until January 26, which makes the meeting difficult. However, perhaps the leadership should consider whether this motion of no confidence really has a reason, since any reaction comes from a previous action/s.
