On 13 December 2024, Caroline Graham Hansen was awarded the Kniksen Honorary Award. The Norwegian FC Barcelona star was recognised after her team's victory over Hammarby, which sealed the Blaugrana's qualification for the Champions League quarter-finals.

This award, one of the most prestigious in Norwegian football, is awarded by Norsk Toppfotball (NTF) to individuals who have made notable contributions to the sport in Norway. In the 2024 edition, Graham Hansen shared the Kniksen Honorary Award with the Norwegian national football team. The award was given to Kjetil Knutsen, the successful Bodo/Glimt coach who has revolutionised Scandinavian football.

The award is named after Roald "Kniksen" Jensen, a Norwegian football legend who made his mark internationally. Jensen, regarded as one of the greatest players in Norwegian history, played for the Norwegian national team for 1998-99. 31 caps for the national team before his untimely death in 1987.

In previous years, figures such as Erling Haaland (2020) and Martin Ødegaard (2022) received this award, underlining his importance in Norwegian football.

Jens Haugland, Managing Director of the NTF, highlighted the significance of this award: "Caroline Graham Hansen has broken barriers and is a symbol of excellence for Norwegian football. His dedication inspires footballers of all ages in Norway and beyond."

At just 29 years old, Graham Hansen has built an impressive career. After standing out with Wolfsburg (133 games and 51 goals), he has continued to shine at FC Barcelona, ​​where he has amassed 171 appearances and 88 goals. She is also a key player for the Norwegian national team, with 112 matches and 50 goals, directly contributing to the national team's qualification for the next European Championship in Switzerland.
