Strong message from Bartomeu and FC Barcelona about VAR

The past Saturday, the FC Barcelona went out clearly prejudiced by the referee's decisions in the party that confronted him to the Real Madrid. In concrete, by an action in which Sergio Bouquets committed fault by several agarrones to Clément Lenglet but the referee Martínez Munuera decided to evade them and signal like penalti -after consulting in the VAR- a last agarrón, in this case of the French to the Andalusian.

This Monday, the FC Barcelona had proof of some audios in which the assistant of Martínez Munuera warned him in several occasions that the faults were of the captain of the Real Madrid and no of the Barcelona defence. "The Board considers that, in front of situations of identical game or very alike, the VAR has not applied with the criteria of ethical and indispensable equity, what has supposed a grave damage for the FC Barcelona, in profit of his more direct rivals", sentenced the communiqué.
