Barça will submit the request for the urgent measure to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor this Tuesday. The club is confident in a positive response from the CSD
In the midst of a completely tumultuous moment, FC Barcelona remains optimistic about the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. The Catalans, despite the rejections from LaLiga and the RFEF, trust that they will receive the green light from the CSD once they submit the request for the urgent measure to register both players next Tuesday morning.
The blue and garnet entity believes that the documentation was submitted on December 30 and 31 in the correct form and within the deadlines, and that the case of the two forwards does not apply to what is stipulated in article 130.2, which states that two players cannot play on the same team a season after having left. For that reason, they hope that the public entity, which depends on the Government of Pedro Sánchez, will give them the 'OK' to proceed with the operation.
Olmo and Víctor are waiting in Saudi Arabia
Barça's hope is at its highest, and for that reason they decided to include Olmo and Víctor in the squad for the Supercopa de España. The two players are in Saudi Arabia with the rest of their teammates waiting for the resolution of their cases, and although they are becoming increasingly impatient, they trust the word of Joan Laporta, who has always conveyed calm to them and assured them that they will be registered.
If they obtain the urgent measure from the CSD, the Catalans will gain time to make the necessary arrangements in the coming months to definitively resolve this setback. An operation that will be easier after having re-entered the 1:1 rule thanks to the multimillion-dollar sale of VIP seats at the Spotify Camp Nou. More updates are expected this Tuesday.
