FC Barcelona has obtained the urgent precautionary measure for the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. The measure granted by the CSD is now effective and both players can play.

FC Barcelona now has the urgent precautionary measure that allows the re-registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. The Higher Sports Council (CSD) has granted the precautionary measure requested by FC Barcelona to re-register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in official competitions. The Government made this decision because it sees "indications of nullity" in the agreement between the RFEF and LaLiga that regulates player licenses.

LaLiga prevented Barcelona from re-registering Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in the second half of the season for violating its financial control rules. The measure was announced in an urgent official statement just before the Supercup to avoid harming the players' careers and the club's finances.

The Higher Sports Council points out the possible occurrence of a cause of full nullity and the existence of immediate and difficult-to-repair damages, which would affect the rights recognized in the current Sports Law to players Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor and their legal security. The CSD also considers that not adopting this precautionary measure would cause serious economic and sporting harm to the club and, above all, to the players. This could also damage the interests of the Spanish national team, as well as those of other national competitions, including LaLiga.
