FC Barcelona already knows how long it could keep Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor provisionally registered. What would this deadline be? We tell you at FCBN
The FC Barcelona received excellent news ahead of their match against Athletic Club (0-2) in the 'semis' of the Spanish Super Cup. However, it is important to highlight that this measure is provisional and will be in effect until the final resolution of the appeal filed by FC Barcelona and the involved players. A specific timeframe is expected for the response.
As reported by 'Mundo Deportivo', the urgent precautionary measure will be valid until April 7th, the deadline for the CSD to resolve the appeal submitted by FC Barcelona. During these three months, the Barcelona team will face a crucial part of the 2024-25 season, a period in which they could count on Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, unless the appeal is resolved unfavorably for them before that deadline.
Barcelona Could Have Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in a Vital Stretch of the 2024-25 Season
That is not mere words, as by the aforementioned date (April 7th), Barcelona would have progressed to matchday 30 of LaLiga EA Sports, with roughly eight remaining fixtures to play. Additionally, if they continue advancing in the Copa del Rey, the Catalan side could have already reached the final. The 'semis' are scheduled between February 26th (first leg) and April 2nd (second leg).
Regarding the UEFA Champions League, if Barcelona progresses, by April they could have secured a place in the quarterfinals. The round of 16 matches, if the Catalan team qualifies, are set for March 4/5 and 11/12. Furthermore, the first-leg match of the hypothetical quarterfinals would take place on April 8th, a day after the mentioned deadline.
