If Dani Olmo does not finally receive the green light for his registration, he would be free from his contract with Barça and could sign with another team

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The current refusal of La Liga to register Dani Olmo places FC Barcelona in a nightmarish scenario, as failing to resolve this would lead to the inevitable departure of the star signing of this season. Despite having a contract until June 2030, he would be completely free by invoking the release clause included in the agreement made last August.

Nevertheless, for now FC Barcelona is not giving up on Dani Olmo and continues to hope to keep him registered for the second half of the season. Additionally, the player's own hint on New Year's Eve has reassured those around him with a message that is a clear declaration of intent regarding his future.

Pau Víctor does not have a release clause

The situation of Pau Víctor is different from that of Olmo, as his contract until 2029 does not include a release clause. However, if he does not have his registration in order, he would not be able to be loaned to another club until the end of the season. According to current regulations, the player must have his registration approved before he can be loaned out.

The next few hours will be crucial for the future of both players; if the blaugrana team does not find a favorable solution, Dani Olmo's contract would automatically expire, resulting in compensation and million-dollar losses, leaving him free to sign with any other club. In the case of Pau Víctor, he would be left unable to play for the remainder of the season.
