Dani Olmo's father expresses his concern about his registration in LaLiga, with a ruling from the CSD expected by April 7.
The FC Barcelona will receive the final ruling from the Superior Sports Council (CSD) regarding the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in the coming days. The body presided over by José Manuel Uribes must issue the resolution by April 7 at the latest, and if it is favorable to the club's interests, the problem will be a thing of the past. Otherwise, the Catalans will turn to ordinary justice to request a precautionary measure until the end of the season.
Amid the uncertainty, the father of the Egarense, Miguel Olmo, spoke to the microphones of the program 'Tu Diràs' on Rac1 and expressed his concern about his son's registration, stating, "I would be lying if I said it doesn't worry me, but we trust that good work will be done," explained the father of the number '2' in blaugrana.
Despite this, calm reigns at Barça, since, in any case, Olmo's registration no longer admits any legal argument from the RFEF or LaLiga. The midfielder played 108 minutes with Spain in the quarterfinals of the Nations League against the Netherlands, and his presence could only occur through his registration for the second half of the 24/25 season, as no player can be called up for international matches without having a license to play with their respective club.
The message from Miguel Olmo to LaLiga
Dani Olmo's father also referred to the player's physical condition, stating that "he is fine, very eager, the kid is perfect, at one hundred percent". However, he complained about the tight schedule and LaLiga's controversial decision to schedule the pending match between the Catalans and Osasuna for this Thursday, March 27, with a good part of the squad reaching their physical limits due to the FIFA date.
"I don't know if those who were there were different, if this match would be played..."
"They have forced us into a match this Thursday and in practically eight days, they will play four matches, the things of the League..." said Miguel Olmo ironically. In fact, he threw a venomous dart at the governing body by stating that "I don't know if those who were there were different, if this match would be played..." in a clear reference to Real Madrid.
Dani's father praised the work of Hansi Flick in this complicated context, commenting that "the mister is managing it well, the management of who plays and who doesn't and when they play," concluding his appearance by highlighting that "what happens is that it is true that it is complicated to have a match on Thursday when you have players like Araujo or Raphinha who have to return on a private flight to try to be in the match".
