The FC Barcelona advances in the set-up of Montjuïc

Montjuïc Will be smart for the beginning of the 2023/24. This Wednesday began the installation of the new lawn of the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys with the placing of the first roll of green. Like this, the terrain of game will arrive in optimum conditions for the Trophy Joan Gamper, party that will contest the next 8 August in front of the Tottenham and that will mark the official presentation of the staff for the next season.

After the Gamper, the Barça will contest his first official party like venue the Sunday 20 August in front of the Cádiz by the second day of LaLiga. In September, the activity in Montjuïc will reduce , probably, to three parties if the club debuts like venue in Champions, as in League only are programmed two parties in front of Betis and Celtic of Vigo.

The final phase of the works in Montjuïc advances to good rhythm

With the installation of the lawn, the Barça gives start to the final phase of the works in Montjuïc. The second stage concluded with the refacciones made in the interior of the stadium that forced to raise the lawn. "The rooms of hospitality, the loge, the terracings of press, the changing rooms and the terrain of game are some of the spaces that have experienced a greater transformation", detailed the club in a communiqué.

In this sense, the directive explained that the following refacciones will include "the replacement of the chairs of the terracings in the current roads of evacuation of the concerts, the installation of chairs of zones VIP and of the systems of sportive competition –VAR, cameras of tracking, cameras of offside– and the setting of the benches and goals", once finish to install the lawn. The final phase of the works began the Monday 24 July and will conclude around the middle of August.
