After Madrid's defeat in Lille, Barça are now ahead of them in the Champions League standings. In La Liga, the Catalans are 3 points ahead of the Whites
FC Barcelona's superiority over Real Madrid this season is not only reflected on the pitch, where the Catalans are a much more complete team, but also in the league table. The Blaugrana are already above the Whites in La Liga, where they are the sole leaders, three points behind the Merengues, and in the Champions League, where they are in 16th position, while their biggest rival is one place below (17th).
In the first 10 games of the season, Hansi Flick's team has won 8 (against Valencia, Athletic Club, Rayo, Valladolid, Girona, Villarreal, Getafe and Young Boys) and only two losses (against Monaco and Osasuna), with a balance of 31 goals for and 11 against. The Catalans lead LaLiga with 21 points out of a possible 24 and occupy 16th place in the Champions League table with three points out of six that have been played for.

Real Madrid, the biggest disappointment of the season
