The club is working on commercial agreements to comply with LaLiga's 'fair play' and guarantee Dani Olmo's signing after December

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona's priority is to achieve the definitive registration of Dani Olmo in the winter market. Despite the difficulties in complying with LaLiga's 1:1 financial 'fair play' rule, the Barça club claims to be working on several commercial avenues that would free up salary margin and guarantee the signing of the former Leipzig striker, key to the second half of the season.

Tranquility within the club

Dani Olmo's arrival in September was possible thanks to the temporary registration allowed after Andreas Christensen's injury, but his continuity beyond December requires the club to adjust its numbers. Although the recent agreement with Nike for 1.7 billion euros until 2038 represents an economic boost, Barça still must close other businesses to cover the 91 million losses derived from Libero's non-payment in the Barça Vision project.

Club sources confirm that they are exploring different options to generate additional income, from merchandising agreements to international collaborations. Although Joan Laporta recently made trips to Mongolia and Azerbaijan, linked to possible negotiations, the club maintains discretion in this regard and does not consider them as an immediate solution.

Dani Olmo, a non-negotiable priority

Beyond the financial challenges, Barça considers Olmo's registration as a strategic issue to reinforce the attack in a season marked by injuries and high competition. With the January transfer window as the deadline, the Barça board hopes to close an agreement that will allow them to comply with LaLiga's demands and ensure that the forward can be registered without setbacks.

Although the current panorama is complex, the sports management and the board of directors remain calm, convinced that they will find the formula to make this goal a reality.
