Wojciech Szczesny has taken another step towards his integration into the FC Barcelona first team. Three days after receiving the federation's approval in LaLiga, the Pole now also has a license to play in the Champions League. UEFA has included him in the Blaugrana squad and in his place has released Marc-André Ter Stegen, who has said goodbye to the season after breaking the patellar tendon in his right knee.
Hansi Flick's plan with the new Barça goalkeeper is for him to finish his preparation in these two weeks of the international break and thus be ready for the match against Sevilla next Sunday, October 20 in Montjuïc. In this same venue they will receive Bayern Munich three days later and then visit Real Madrid in the Clásico at the Bernabéu on the 26th at 9 p.m.
