FC Barcelona Leads Europe with the Fewest Draws in the 2024-25 League

The FC Barcelona has shown itself this season 2024-25 as one of the most consistent teams of the year, having as its main banner the pursuit of victory through an intense style of play both offensively and defensively. The culé team is characterized by its voracity and criteria in seeking the goal, and by its ability to press and regroup promptly when losing the ball, becoming an almost impregnable team.

At the same time, the Catalan club has recorded a low number of defeats (six) and an even lower number of draws (five), evidencing a mentality that does not accept half measures.

Currently, the FC Barcelona leads among the teams considered 'big' in Europe in terms of the fewest draws in their tournament alone. They have only drawn three times so far this season in LaLiga EA Sports: against Celta de Vigo (2-2 in matchday 14), Real Betis (2-2 in matchday 16), and Getafe CF (1-1 in matchday 20), highlighting that all these draws have been as the visiting team.

For example, at the local level, two other stellar teams from Spain like Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid, have drawn six and eight matches respectively. In competitions like the Premier League, teams such as Arsenal (10), Liverpool and Chelsea (seven) and Manchester City (six) have recorded a higher number of draws than the Catalan team. 

In Serie A, Juventus of Turin (13) and Inter Milan, Napoli and Atalanta with seven have also drawn more matches than FC Barcelona, as well as in the Bundesliga where Bayern Munich (five) and Bayer Leverkusen (eight), and in Ligue 1 where Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille (four) have also not drawn fewer. These figures demonstrate the ability of Barça to resolve matches without leaving room for doubt, ensuring victory in most cases and suffering few defeats.
