The FC Barcelona will conclude the 2024-25 season playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as their home ground. Although there was mention of the possibility of the blue and maroon team returning to the Spotify Camp Nou for the decisive stretch of the season, recent developments suggest that this return to the Les Corts temple will be postponed to the next season.

One of these changes is related to the extension of the permit to use the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys until May, specifically until the 20th. This is two days after Barcelona's final home match in the 2024-25 season, scheduled against Villarreal CF on the 18th of that month.

FC Barcelona Extends Season Pass at Montjuïc

Another significant indication is that FC Barcelona has sent an email to season ticket holders at Montjuïc, informing them that they can extend their subscription to include the remaining matches of the 2024-25 season. The email states:

"We are extending the extension of the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys 24/25 pass with the matches of the male football first team in the League and the UEFA Champions League competitions that will be played until the end of the 24/25 season. If you want to extend the pass you already purchased for these new matches, you can do so with the following link."

These announcements confirm the difficulties to return to the Spotify Camp Nou in the 2024-25 season, due to common unforeseen circumstances in large-scale projects, such as a shortage of materials and labor, as well as adverse weather conditions, which have delayed the construction and altered the original plan of the club. Therefore, the return to the Culé temple is expected to happen in the 2025-26 season, after these setbacks.
