FCBN closes 2024 with the best numbers in its history

FCBN has bid farewell to 2024 in style, reaching spectacular figures and breaking records in all metrics. Thanks to your trust, "FC Barcelona News" closed 2024 with 8,101,435 unique users, with a growth of +120% compared to the previous year.

This annual figure is the highest that FCBN has ever recorded, establishing itself as one of the leading sports websites and placing us on the list of the ¡5 most important and read FC Barcelona websites in the world!

The year's balance has managed to close with positive numbers in absolutely all metrics: visits, pages viewed, news read, countries, categories, devices, sources, channels, languages, ages, platforms… Once again, the preferred device of our readers was “mobile”, with a share of 91%. Even the “desktop” data increased by +224,000 readers after years of declines. Access via “tablet” increased by +90% to 120,000, and “smart TV” access grew by +30%.

The ranking of readers by country is simply spectacular, growing exponentially in all and achieving significant presence in more than 50 countries. Naturally, Spain remains at the top of the ranking with over 3M and an increase of +91%.

In second place is the United States, which continues to grow at astonishing levels. In 2024, it reached 1M readers for the first time thanks to a growth of +152%. And in third place is Mexico with 302,000 and an increase of +148%. By languages, the main version in “Spanish” also leads the ranking with 5M readers, closely followed by the “English” version, which now totals over 3M.

The audience has rewarded the usual reference sections and content (calendar, transfers, results..) and this year has particularly highlighted “Lamine Yamal”, the absolute leader of the audiences. Some of the new ventures of the year have also achieved excellent results, such as the “World TV Guides” and especially our “Covers of the Day”, which in just 4 months have become one of the readers' favorite contents.
