The FC Barcelona squad had their usual 'Media day' this Thursday, the last of 2024, where the players take the opportunity to address the Spanish press. In a conversation with 'TV3', Ferran Torres shared his thoughts on Barça's chances of competing for the treble in 2025, stating that, despite the recent dip in La Liga, the culés know how to handle pressure and maintain calm to achieve the expected results.

"A season is like a marathon, a long-distance race, and in the race, there can be moments when we are not at our best level", began the 'Shark'. In that sense, he made it clear the potential he believes the azulgrana squad has to compete for the four titles at stake during the second half of the 2024/25 season, after a 2024 without trophies for the culé team.

For Ferran, Barça can be 'unstoppable' in 2025

"We must maintain calm because we are just as good as when we were in a very good dynamic. From there, we need to try to find our best level and when we are like that, we are unstoppable", argued the Valencian forward. Ferran has once again been a key player for Barça in recent weeks, with a couple of goals in La Liga and his double against Dortmund in the Champions League.

As the decisive phase of the 2024/25 season approaches, the player from Foios will continue to be important in Hansi Flick's plans, as he is a very effective player coming off the bench. At the end of the season, both the management and the coaching staff will evaluate whether it is worth putting the '7' on the transfer list. In principle, the club has no intention of letting him go for less than 30 million euros, a figure that, for now, no team has shown interest in paying.
