Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona looks like a champion. The team led by Hansi Flick has maintained a crushing dynamic since the start of the new year, giving the impression that there is no rival capable of stopping them. In the 19 matches played this 2025, the culés have 16 wins and only 3 draws, showing an overwhelming level that makes them strong favorites for all titles.

Their decisive 3-0 victory over Osasuna not only solidifies their lead in LaLiga but also positions them as the only team in the five major European leagues that has not suffered a defeat this year. Currently, the culés occupy the top spot in the table with 63 points from 28 matches, surpassing Real Madrid (60) and Atlético Madrid (56) with 10 matches remaining in the season.

Barça is an unstoppable machine in 2025

The Barça has asserted itself authoritatively against its rivals in all competitions this 2025. In LaLiga, after drawing 1-1 with Getafe in the first match of the year, the culés decisively defeated Valencia (7-1), Alavés (1-0), Sevilla (1-4), Rayo (1-0), Las Palmas (0-2), Real Sociedad (4-0), Atleti (2-4), and Osasuna (3-0). In the Champions, meanwhile, they have dominated Benfica on three occasions (4-5, 0-1, and 3-1) and drew with Atalanta in the last match of the group stage (2-2).

On the other hand, the azulgranas are one step away from the title of the Copa del Rey after crushing Barbastro (0-4), Betis (5-1), and Valencia (0-5), although they will play for a spot in the final at the home of the colchoneros after drawing 4-4 in the first leg of the semifinals. The culés, however, have already lifted their first trophy of the season in the Supercopa de España, where they were crowned champions after defeating Athletic Club (0-2) and Real Madrid (2-5).

In total, the blaugranas have recorded 16 wins and 3 draws, scoring 61 goals in these matches (135 in the entire season) and conceding only 19. In fact, the rise of the Catalans is not limited to the offensive side, as they have also managed to keep their goal clean in 9 of the 19 matches played this year.

Hansi Flick, one step away from matching 'Tata' Martino

If Barça manages to defeat Girona next Sunday, March 30, the German coach will match the record of Gerardo 'Tata' Martino, who achieved 20 consecutive matches without losing in his only season in charge of the first team (2013/14). If he surpasses this record, the German will allow himself to dream of the records of Pep Guardiola, Ernesto Valverde, and especially Luis Enrique.

The one from Sampedor reached a figure of 28 unbeaten matches in the 2010/11 season, while the team led by 'Txingurri' went on a streak of 29 matches in a row without losing in the 2018/19 season. The Asturian, for his part, was in charge of a team that achieved a practically unbeatable milestone by accumulating 39 consecutive matches without knowing defeat in 2015/16.

That legendary team led by 'MSN' recorded a balance of 32 wins, 7 draws, 122 goals for, and 23 against. A feat that remains firm to this day as the longest unbeaten streak in the club's history, but which is still in Flick's sights.
