Pablo Martín Páez Gavira 'Gavi' has lived brilliant days in his young career like footballer after doing with the prize Kopa to the best young player in the gala of the Balloon of Gold and with the Golden Boy. Recently, the Andalusian has desvelado several details of the experiences that had to live after his incursion with the FC Barcelona, remembering to several figures of the Barcelona team.

For Gavi, the dream to arrive to dress some day the Barcelona T-shirt always was latent, even from very early age. Like this it went his arrival to the club in 2015: "it Was a bit apprehensive because it did not know what expected me here. But my parents reassured me. They accompanied me because I had 10-11 years. We lived in a flat in the Promenade. Play in the Barça always has been my dream".

In his interview for 'France Football', has left clear his words of gratitude to the then trainer, Ronald Koeman, the one who opened him the doors of the first team: "Koeman gave me the opportunity and always will be him appreciated by what taught me. In Saint Siro before confronting to Italy in the semifinals of the Nations League was the first time that felt the pressure".

The midfield player indicated that the nerves did present to the moment to jump to the field, but with the step of the minutes could feel more comfortable. On the other hand, it regrets to have not been able to coincide with Lionel Messi in the field: "it Was very nervous and shivered me the legs, but in what it began the party felt me comfortable (...). The origin of his name

Likewise, it has desvelado that the name that at present carries in the dorsal of his T-shirt was coined by part of his first trainer: "The people thinks that it is by my complete name 'Pablo Martín Páez Gaviria'. But this is not true, in my first team were two players with the name of Pablo, and to avoid the similarity, the trainer called me Gavi".
