The Espai Barça has received this Wednesday green light of the Commission of Ecology, Urbanismo and Mobility of the City council of Barcelona after the political debate of the parties with municipal representation and of the initial approval of the proposal of Modification of the Metropolitan General Plan (MPGM) that has presented the government of the city.
This is the first indispensable formality to be able to achieve the definite approval, inside some meses. From now it will open a period of public exhibition of three months (without explaining the month of August), in which all the parts will be able to present allegations and later will carry the document for the provisional approval of the Council Plenario, the last municipal formality before elevating to definite approval to the Subcommittee of Urbanismo of Barcelona, organ of the Government of Catalonia.
With all this setting, the FC Barcelona will have to invest 122,37 million euros, especially in the following fields: subterranean parking (65,56 millions), works of urbanisation in public floor (27,88 millions) and urbanisation of a private plot (13,83 millions).
More space in the surroundings of the Camp Nou
One of the most stood out improvements of the transformation that poses of the space is that the Camp Nou and the group of the installations of the FC Barcelona will open and will leave to be an urban barrier. The enclosure will integrate in the neighbourhood of the Maternitat and of Saint Ramón and will be permeable, with new open private spaces to the public use without closings that will keep a continuity with the rest of public spaces, viales and green that surround it and that give in front of the Camp Nou and the current Miniestadi.
