Hansi Flick once again gave a 'masterclass' to Carlo Ancelotti in the 2025 Super Cup final. The German achieved his first title at FC Barcelona after his team crushed Real Madrid with a score that will go down in the history of the Classics (2-5), and regarding this, he spoke at the post-match press conference, where, in addition to showing his most euphoric side, he made it clear that his Barça is aiming for more.

"I am very proud of the team, the staff, the club, because I think today was a great match for the supporters," began the azulgrana coach. "It’s fantastic and we are not looking back, but forward to do things better. What we did to Madrid gives us confidence in what we do. We came back and it was fantastic. How we kept playing is incredible," he continued.

Flick demands more from his squad

However, Flick stated that "we never know if this match will have an impact on what comes next, we have to learn from every match. We will analyze it and I’m sure we can do things better. We have had some matches where we didn’t do things quite right, but now this serves us to move forward".

The German also highlighted the strong points of his squad. "What I am most proud of today is, after Szczesny's expulsion, having spoken on the bench and making the right decision. Iñaki did fantastic when he came on and how we defended is what makes me most proud. We did it as a team, but of course when you see the goals we scored… We should be very happy about many things today," he commented.

Finally, Flick made it clear that Barça will aim for more after this victory. "For me, it’s important how we play, as a team, we made some mistakes, when we have the ball we need to control the match because that makes it easier for us and harder for the opponent. I’m happy for the team. I am very happy and proud, but now we have to show how good we are in every match. We always try to do that," he concluded.
