Hansi Flick's FC Barcelona is sweeping La Liga. The team led by the German coach has been the only team to have collected 9 points in the Spanish local competition so far. With three wins against Valencia (1-2), Athletic Club (2-1) and Rayo Vallecano (1-2), the Catalans have taken first place in the standings.

And the fact is that the team, although it is not perfect and has sensitive losses such as Gavi and Ronald Araújo, has shown strength, determination and power in attack due to the extraordinary performance of players such as Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski. The young Spaniard has been involved in goal-scoring plays in the three games with two assists and one goal, while the Pole has scored on three occasions, being the 'Pichichi' of La Liga. For this reason, the German coach has decided to give the players a gift, as a reward for their great work.

Flick's gift to the Barça players

The coach and his staff had planned a training session for Thursday 29th at 10am. But after the win against Rayo, a new institutional communication arose stating that this session is not scheduled, so the players will have the day off to rest and avoid overloading their bodies because the season is long, so they don't want to take any risks

The squad will return to training this Friday 30th August at 10am, to begin preparing for the match on Saturday 31st against Valladolid in Montjuïc for the fourth matchday of LaLiga. In this match Flick will seek to continue his good winning streak in search of surpassing the 8 consecutive wins at the start, a record established by 'Tata' Martino in the 2013/14 campaign.
