The registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, granted through an urgent precautionary measure to FC Barcelona by the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD), continues to generate controversy. This provisional measure has begun to stir some discomfort among several LaLiga EA Sports clubs, who have publicly expressed their discontent with this contentious situation.

One of these teams that has voiced their complaint against this situation is Atlético de Madrid, which through its various media channels has issued a brief statement to show its dissatisfaction with the precautionary registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.

The statement of Atlético de Madrid against the decision of the CSD and the precautionary registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor:

The 'colchonero' team has begun its proclamation by making clear its strongest opposition to this resolution and its concern about it. "Atlético de Madrid wants to express its deep concern for the situation generated in Spanish football following the decision made this Wednesday by the Consejo Superior de Deportes. We believe that this decision endangers the current system, questioning the rules of the game," it warns.

Furthermore, Atlético de Madrid explains why it considers that this measure taken by the CSD goes against the regulatory principles of Spanish football. "The Sports Law itself includes and protects the financial control of LaLiga and yet, this resolution puts it at risk. The financial control of LaLiga has been the main tool that has managed to make our football a solvent sector, a process admired internationally," it points out.

"Our club, like all LaLiga members up to this resolution, has been complying with the financial control rules and will continue to respect them. In fact, in order to compete at the level we have been doing in recent years, we have decided to carry out various capital increases, despite the enormous effort it entails," it recounts.

Finally, Atlético de Madrid concludes its statement by highlighting the negative precedent that this situation may set. "This governmental intervention sets a very dangerous precedent, as it opens the door to bypassing the rules and making the serious mistakes of the past. Atlético de Madrid remains committed to rigor and responsible management. Without clear and equal rules for everyone, there is no possibility of fair competition," it concludes.
